The Order details page in Teller now offers two new options for communicating with customers by email, so you no longer have to copy links or forward tickets manually:
Send link via email — for incomplete orders: email the customer their order link automatically, straight from the Export links modal.
Send to ticket holder — for completed orders: send each ticket individually to the email address of its own holder.
Send link via email (incomplete orders)
In incomplete orders, the Export links modal now shows a Send link via email option next to each Copy link option. Choose Copy link to share the link manually, or Send link via email to have it sent to the customer automatically — a short explanatory note at the top of the modal reminds you of the difference.
Each of the available link options sends its own, different email with the corresponding link.
After sending, you get clear feedback: "The email was successfully sent." on success, or "Failed to send the email." if something went wrong.
Send to ticket holder (completed orders)
Organizers can add an optional (or required) Email field per ticket on the reservation page, through Event → Ticketholder Info → Add extra fields. The booking flow itself does not change — tickets are still delivered to the email declared in the order's contact details. What's new is what you can do afterwards:
Open a completed order and, under the Tickets section, select one or more tickets.
Click Send to ticket holder.
Each selected ticket is emailed individually to the address declared for that specific ticket — every holder receives only their own ticket.
Once sent, the tickets are deselected automatically and an "Email sent successfully" indication appears.
If some of the selected tickets have no email filled in, a warning modal appears ("Attention"), telling you how many of the selected tickets are missing an address and asking whether to proceed with sending only the tickets that have one. You can add or edit each holder's email at any time through Ticket holder info under the Tickets section, or via the "+" next to the ticket, and repeat the action.
TIP : The email each holder receives is based on the familiar order confirmation template — starting simply with "Thank you for your order." (no name), using the sport-event template for sport events, and "Thank you for your reservation." for zero-price invitations. The Order details button is completely hidden in this email, so holders see only their own ticket, not the full order.
Good to know
Send to ticket holder appears only in completed orders — it is never shown in incomplete ones.
If delayed ticket delivery is enabled and the delivery date set by the organizer has not yet passed, the option is hidden entirely; once the date passes, it works as normal.
For orders completed via more.com, all required ticket details are already filled in — only the holder email may be missing, if it was set as optional. For orders completed via Teller, it depends on which fields were set as required.
Frequently asked questions
Does the booking flow change? No — tickets are still sent to the order's contact email as always. The new options are extra actions available in Order details.
What if only some tickets have holder emails? The warning modal lets you proceed with just those — the rest can be sent later, once you fill in their emails via Ticket holder info.
Can a holder see the rest of the order? No — the email they receive contains only their own ticket, and the Order details button is hidden.
Why don't I see the Send to ticket holder option? Either the order is not completed, or there isn’t an email field on the ticketholder info or delayed ticket delivery is enabled and the delivery date has not yet passed.
