Properties and check-in settings for an On Demand streaming event

Updated over 2 years ago

''Properties'' on the "general" tab

Go to the "general" tab of the event.

In the "Streaming url" enter the URL of your online video. After a few minutes a preview of your video will appear so you can check that it works.

Once the URL is added the option of "WATCH ONLINE" will appear on Viva.gr.

If you are streaming the event on a site other than viva.gr then click the box labelled "Stream to be viewed outside of Viva.gr"

If there are any countries where you don't want your event to be viewed from then you can list these in the section below.

After each change remember to click on "save".

Event settings

Firstly, you will need to set a time limit on how long the customer has to view the show after it starts.

This is done through the check-in options. Select the event in question and click on "close check in".

Event settings

Go to the "existing events" tab.

As the event date set the last day someone can stream the show online. The event time can be set to any time, i.e. 21:00.

For example, if you want the show to be streamed between 1/3/22 and 7/3/22 set the date to 7/3/22.

Select the event and click on "alt. date/time show online" to set up the wording that will appear online and on the tickets.

If you do not change the "alt. date/time shown online" then the date shown online will be the date set as the event date which in this case is the last day the stream is available.

Set the sales end date/time

Select the event, click on "end of ticket presale" and select from the drop-down menu the days, hours on minutes that sales will stop after the event starts. Keep in mind that this is set in terms of the start date/time of the event and not the alt. date / time.

Set the time that the event will be available to the customer after they enter their unique entry code.

This is done via the the check-in settings for the event. Chose the event and then click on "check-in starting time" and "check-in closing time" respectively.
